Allison takes a new direction

Bruce Allison Of ALLISON Boats advises that this proud producer of some of the most sought after fibreglass boats manufactured in Australia have decided on a change of direction.

Bruce's experience with other alloy boat manufacturers & a burning desire for a change of direction for ALLISON Boats along with the demise of several plate aluminium boat manufacturers all combined for our venture into alloy plate boat building.

We are in the process of selling off our complete range of moulds from the little Bassmaster right through to the mighty Ocean Angler 244.

We have completed our first ALLISON Alloy Plate Boat prototype which we're in the process of evaluating & as soon as we've finalised our testing we will go into production.

It has not been an easy decision, said Bruce, with the long history of quality fibreglass boats released into the market over the past twenty five years.

Existing ALLISON owners will attest to the popularity of the brand and many are viewing this move as the end of an era.

The move was not an easy one, but the current financial climate has just accelerated the decision for change, which will be a new challenge for the group.

The last of the ALLISON fibreglass boats have been restored on our website under the museum section, so they can be viewed by future generations.

Of course, existing ALLISON users will still be able to get repairs & maintenance done by the company and owners can continue to network through the forum on the website.
